Beastie Boys Tribute Mural

Pop Up Pizza at The Plaza Hotel is the home of this mural. This mural was created using mixed media. Wheat Pasted background elements were covered with acrylic washes and spraypainted color pops.

The mural features the Beastie Boys in a photo manipulated scene. The crew is holding slices of pizza and are adorned with a tagged boombox, site specific hats, and background elements that pay tribute to the owners ties to the East Coast as well as the west coast.
